Divi vs Avada: Quick Opinion
Without going into 2500+ words and dropping affiliate links, my quick answer is:
It’s quicker to get fundamentals done with Avada. The provided theme library is far more practical and ready to go out-the-box than what you get with Divi layouts.
Avada has limited support and little resources past the very basics. It’s refreshing simple compared to Divi, but also limited in the same way. For a simple website you aren’t expecting to update very often, go with Avada.
You can do far more with Divi. Online tutorials and videos for support literally grows daily. More features obviously means more complexity.
If you’re new to web design and/or design principles, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with Divi’s freedom… and left with a website that’s very ugly and broken, especially on mobile, thanks to tedious margin, padding and font-size settings. Be prepared to ask for help on Elegant Themes chat support.
In summary, if you have the time, expertise, and patience to master Divi, especially the Theme Builder and Global Settings, Divi leaves Avada in the dust.
